MicroSIP — Configuration for AJTEL

⚠ Important: Your username and password are NOT your web portal credentials. Use those from the SIP Accounts / VoIP Accounts / your extension data section of your AJTEL portal.
ℹ SIP Server: Throughout this guide the server appears as [SIP_SERVER] . Replace it with the server assigned by AJTEL (e.g. sbc.ajtel.net).
01 Download & Install
Download MicroSIP from the official website (Windows only):

Available as installer or portable version. Compatible with Windows 7 and later.

02 Add Account
Click the ▼ arrow in the top-right corner of MicroSIP and select:
ADD ACCOUNT

03 Configure Account Fields Crítico
Account Name Your name or any identifier
Servidor SIP [SIP_SERVER]
SIP Proxy Leave blank
Usuario Your SIP / VoIP username
⚠ NOT your web login
Dominio [SIP_SERVER]
User ID / Login Your SIP / VoIP username
⚠ NOT your web login
Contraseña Your SIP password
⚠ NOT your web password
Voicemail *86
Display Name Your real name
Encrypted Communication SRTP — MANDATORY

Click SAVE to register the account.

04 Account Registered ✓ Online
If the settings are correct, MicroSIP will show "Online" status at the bottom of the window. The account is ready to make and receive calls.

05 Configure Audio Codecs
Click ▼ → Settings → Audio Codecs section. Enable only the following:
Enabled codecs:
OPUS G722 G729 GSM
☑ Only these four. Disable all others.
06 Test the Service Verification

You will hear your assigned phone number.
