⚠ Important: Your username and password are NOT your web portal credentials. Use those from the VoIP Accounts section of your portal.
ℹ SIP Server: Throughout this guide, the server is shown as [SIP_SERVER] . Replace it with the server provided by AJTEL (e.g. sbc.ajtel.net).
01 Download & Install
Visit the official Blink website and download the version for your operating system:
Select the version for your OS, download and install it.
02 Add SIP Account
When Blink opens, select the option:
Fill in the fields with the following information:
ADD AN EXISTING SIP ACCOUNT
Fill in the fields with the following information:
| Display Name | Your full name or nickname The name your contacts will see |
| SIP Address | your_sip_user@[SIP_SERVER] Use the username from your VoIP Accounts section |
| Password | Your SIP password Obtained from the VoIP Accounts section |
Click the ADD button to save the account.
03 Media Settings
Once the account is created, open its settings and go to the Media tab.
Audio Codecs — keep these enabled:
opus G722 GSM RTP Options:
| ☑ | Leave both RTP options checked |
| ???? | For the Encryption option, select: SDES Mandatory |
04 Test Your Account Verification
Close the settings and make a test call by dialing:
*711
If configured correctly, you will hear a recording that reads back your assigned phone number. ✓
